That's where I come from............

THIS is the type of thing that happens sometimes in the state I grew up in.



Maybe now everyone will understand why I sometimes feel the need to specify, "I'm not from South Louisiana, I grew up in North Louisiana - it's like two different worlds."



Although, if you read about THIS, then you realize that lately I haven't been too precise about any of it. Sometimes I just say, "I'm not originally from Alabama."



I am proud of my Louisiana heritage, just not the parts of it that typically make the news.
